Training Procedures

Training begins each day at 8:00 AM and runs until 4:00 PM. Certification requires full participation.  Introduction to Telecommunications and Copper-Based Systems training is 2.5 days and Fiber Optic training is 2.5 days.  The Copper-Based training ends at the lunch break on Wednesday.   The Fiber Optic course begins after lunch on Wednesday and concludes on Friday at 4 PM.   Home Entertainment training is conducted Monday and Tuesday.  Introduction to Telephone Systems and VoIP training starts at 8:00AM on Wednesday and concludes at 4:00PM on Friday.

If you plan on flying:  The airport to use is Newark International Airport, Newark, NJ.  Shuttle service is available through State Shuttle (800) 427-3207; reservations are recommended.  The current rate is approximately $60 for one person each way.  Additional people are $10.00 each.

Training begins promptly at 8:00 AM each morning and will run until 4:00 PM.  C-Tech will provide transportation from the hotel to the training site.  A representative of C-Tech will be waiting for you in the lobby at 7:30 AM to service your transportation needs.  

C-Tech will provide instructors with all the equipment needed for training.  Instructors should review their Student Manuals prior to attending the training session(s).   A pre- and post-test will be administered.  Important:  You do not need to bring any manuals with you.  Training Manuals will be provided by C-TECH.

Attendance during the entire training is mandatory for certification to be granted.  Travel on the last day of class to Newark Airport can take up to 3 hours to insure both certification and the ability to make a Friday flight please do not schedule flights from Newark Airport before 7PM.

C-Tech reserves the right to cancel any class two (2) weeks prior to its commencement in the event of insufficient enrollment.
